Accountant

Are you an experienced Accountant looking for your next opportunity?

I am currently recruiting for my client based in Harwich for an Accountant to assist their Financial Controller with the financial and management accounts functions due to the growth within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Compliance and Financial Reporting

• Maintain and govern the full ledger – nominal and subsidiary, to ensure information is accurate and up to date

• Maintain Fixed Asset Register – ensuring accurate recording and management of annual asset verification audits

• Corporate Plan and Budget Process

• Assist Financial Controller with Financial Management expertise

• Group financial reporting

The successful candidate will have/be

• Recently, or soon to be, Qualified Accountant e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent

• Experience of statutory accounting, internal and external reporting

• Experience of people management

• Budget preparation

• Financial and Management Accounts

• Strong IT skills
