An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager with experience in Highways and / or Civil Engineering to join a client in the South West of the UK. Working on a major infrastructure project your main duties include NEC contract administration and contract support, commercial assurance, compiling reports for client reviewal and supporting the client with contractual issues throughout the programme of works. Other duties include financial auditing, change control, NEC project management and risk management.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £380 - £400 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Travel across the South West may be required.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
- NEC contract administration and commercial assurance
- Assessing the contractor's applications for payment
- Supporting the client on contractual issues throughout the project
- Financial auditing, change control and report writing / compiling
