Ecommerce Administrator

Salary: £24,000 to £25,000 per annum

Location: St Albans - Monday to Wednesday office based - Thursday/Friday home based - the role will become permanently based in the office thereafter

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

An excellent opportunity has become available to work within a fun an energetic organisation within the creative, product sector.

We are seeking an organised and confident candidate that can take initiative and take ownership of their workload. You must be a strong multitasker, capable of working to crucial timelines and providing an excellent service.

Ecommerce experience of working with Amazon or eBay would be highly beneficial however our client will consider strong administrators that can demonstrate experience of managing a demanding and varied workload with a good eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage ecommerce site independently
  • Respond to customer queries within 24 hours
  • Check stock levels and trends daily - analysing and pulling relevant reports; Liaise heavily with sales and marketing to update on findings
  • Coordinate stock and shipments with internal and external delivery methods
  • List new items and imagery accurately
  • Raise sales orders and process relevant finance invoicing


  • Ecommerce exposure to Amazon or eBay highly beneficial although training will be provided
  • Exceptional ability to multitask and take ownership of a demanding workload
  • Capable of spotting trends and reporting appropriately
  • Excellent attention to detail whilst working at speed
  • Confident and outgoing
  • Focussed and hardworking - passionate about providing work of a very high standard
