As an IT Service Analyst, you will work as part of the Information and Technology Strategy and Commercial Division within the Information and Technology Directorate. You will be responsible for managing a number of business IT core contracts including support to business case production and financial monitoring, together with engagement with both Finance and Procurement colleagues for market engagement and cost management/forecasting. You will be part of a professional IT team who manage all IT contracts across the Information and Technology Directorate, working as part of team, identifying and supporting user needs, supporting our deliverables and improving the customer journey right from the beginning of the process.
This role has the flexibility to be based from any of our National offices, with flexibility to work remotely but will require travel when necessary to Birmingham, Leeds and Bristol, subject to COVID-19 guidelines.
What you’ll be leading on
Specific core IT contracts in terms of pipeline management, cost forecasting and supplier management
Support stakeholders in terms of business case production and guidance in terms of the IT Customer journey
Ensure compliance with statutory and internal processes/procedures for maintaining accurate technology, financial and contractual records
Support tender evaluations and supplier selection, working closely with procurement colleagues
Support the software asset management process
To be successful
A detailed understanding of contract and financial management within an IT service environment
Able to demonstrate experience of working within a large public or private sector organisation in a similar role
Strong stakeholder management skills and capability in order to build professional IT customer relationships.
Ability to provide advice and guidance in terms of the customer journey, and provide support to the Business Relationship Managers in proving solution advice where appropriate
