An ecommerce retailer in West Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to drive their social media and marketing strategy and further develop the marketing team.

THE COMPANY

An ecommerce retailer in West Yorkshire who are going through an incredible period of growth. They have a global online community behind them, a growing social media presence and a number of ambassadors promoting their products. They sell via their own websites and a mixture of online platforms including Amazon in the UK, EU, US and AUS and are looking to expand into further territories. Due to their current Marketing Manager relocating overseas they are looking for a Marketing Manager to pick up the reins, drive their social media and marketing strategy and further develop the marketing team which is made up of a fab group of Affiliate, Influencer, PR, Social, Copy, and Content Marketing Executives. They offer some brilliant benefits for a company of their size including a generous annual bonus, private medical, and a lot of flexibility with working hours and have always offered a mix of home and office working. The team is outgoing, the opposite of corporate and are based in a relaxed office in West Yorkshire. Their offices are commutable from Burnley, Blackburn, Bradford, Halifax, Harrogate, Huddersfield, Leeds, North Manchester, Rochdale and surrounding areas.

THE ROLE


Develop and implement a PR, Social and Marketing strategy to raise brand awareness and deliver business growth
Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
Manage, strategise and continue to grow all social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest
Oversee multi-language replication of campaigns for international audience
Develop and implement PR strategy; research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media, manage PR distribution, build relationships with bloggers, press, magazines, news etc
Develop and execute online and e-mail marketing campaigns
Supervise and advise the influencer marketing team, oversee campaigns
Manage and oversee affiliate marketing campaign with third party affiliate agency; assist with reporting and organise content for affiliates
Manage all content creation surrounding Organic Marketing
Create and manage briefs for third party media agencies for all content creation; promotional videos, lifestyle imagery etc.
Write copy and maintain tone of voice across different channels
Assist Head of Paid Advertising with ad campaigns
Manage all planning and reporting for department
Continue to motivate, grow and manage PR and Marketing team
Manage PR and Marketing budget

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will need demonstrable experience in a Marketing Manager role with experience in ecommerce retail, preferably managing campaigns across territories outside of the UK. You will have a solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms with an all-round knowledge touching on PR, Influencer / Affiliate / Email Marketing. You will have strong creative skills to bring new and innovative ideas to the brands. Excellent project, people, and campaign management skills, skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics. You will be a do-er, a manager who likes to get stuck in and enjoys getting their hands dirty. Due to their location, you will need access to a car.
